Sports events, trainings and competitions are an effective and exciting method of learning and for the development of young people. By participating in team games, the child acquires skills that are important in school and everyday life, as well as positively affecting health and psychological state.

Sport has a very important role in educating the spirit and body of children. That is why we hold many sports events and tournaments in our educational center: football, tennis and table tennis.

Based on the experience of various psychologists, it has been proven that creativity and sports help children and not only to unlock their potential and find themselves. In order to develop the talents of our students and help young people with career guidance, we have developed an interesting program called a Talent Show.

At GBM educational centre, a talent show among students is held annually during the summer semester. Preparation for a large-scale competition is conducted throughout the summer season and the grand final of the show is held by the end of summer. Last year, 2022, at the first stage, about 200 candidates applied for participation in the show, among whom only 50 talents were selected for the next round. And then the final of the show took place on the big stage, where 3 winners were selected. The event was held with the support of the Youth Organization named after Makhtumkuli and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

But despite this, all the participants were happy, as they got an invaluable experience of performing on the big stage in front of hundreds of peers and respected juries. And also - it was creative evenings and rehearsals for a big event in a circle of creative people, friends and teachers. Thus, the children had a great opportunity to express themselves and reveal their talents and true desires, and we sincerely believe that, owing to this competition, we will be able to help children and young people show and develop their talents and decide on a future profession.

“Golden Bookmark” is a book reading contest. This reading contest among our students is held every season with the support of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

Each season, participants are offered books of different genres. It should also be noted that the books of this contest are presented in three languages – Turkmen, Russian and English. After reading a book of their choice, contestants take a special test that assesses their understanding of the meaning of the text, taking into account facts and ideas. This contest has been held among students of our training center every season since 2016. The goal of the competition is to introduce young people to library culture and further increase the love of reading among our audience.
